Rights and Responsibilities: In using this web system you agree to abide by these terms of use. They are designed to protect the educational intent of the system and the privacy of its users.

General Guidelines

  • Use DragonMedia only for community and educational purposes.
  • At all times take into account the rights of others.
  • Your account is private. Do not share your username and password with others.
  • Avoid using offensive or inappropriate language; harassing, insulting or attacking others; or sending messages that violate the law.
  • Take this opportunity to be creative! New ideas, thoughts and learning can benefit the entire community!
  • Treat online systems and resources in ways which do not damage or destroy the work of others or the system itself.

Content Guidelines

Do not insert or transmit content that:

  • is patently offensive and promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
  • harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
  • promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
  • photograph of another person that you have posted without that person's consent.

DragonMedia is protected by Hong Kong and international copyright laws. All information contained within the property of Hong Kong International School and cannot be duplicated or shared with other organizations or individuals. Some of the resources on DragonMedia may have copyright restrictions specific to the document. Do not make publicly available resources that legally restricted to Hong Kong International School available in any way.

Whenever using material that is not your original work this should be credited by reference in the case of non-web materials, or a link if a webpage.

Violation of these Guidelines

Hong Kong International School reserves the right to remove part or all of the content you have put into the system. There may be other disciplinary actions consistent with the policies in your academic division.
